What happens when an icon steps off the court? With BELA V3, Wilson didn’t just want to announce a product, they wanted to mark a transition. The campaign celebrates the moment Fernando Belasteguín, the greatest padel player of all time, passes the torch. Not in defeat, but in total mastery: retiring at the top and reemerging as a symbol of enduring greatness.

The campaign was developed in close collaboration with the Wilson Padel creative team in Chicago. From the earliest stages, creative and production worked hand in hand, which allowed us to move swiftly from idea to execution while keeping the vision fully intact.

To frame this shift, we reimagined the court as a stage. A space stripped to its essence: red carpet, glass walls, shadows and silence. Bela’s presence commands the space. No longer competing, but remembered, referenced, revered. Creatively, we poured our efforts into representing padel using the bare minimum of elements, aiming to iconize the sport. Each frame elevates Bela from athlete to myth.

Stark black and white photography grounds the campaign in timelessness. Sharp accents of red call back to the new V3 racquet and underline the legacy being passed on. Motion blur and repeated action shots act as echoes of memory, honoring the grace and grit of a career like no other.

Every decision was made to elevate padel beyond sport. From a fashion-forward editorial aesthetic to a pared-back graphic system inspired by the texture of a racket, the campaign moves away from traditional sports clichés. It enters new territory, where a sport becomes a story, and a player becomes a legend.
